Dr.Eldo Koshy is the Professor & HOD of Prosthodontics   at Royal  Dental College in Kerala, India.

He is the recipient of the State Award for the best scientific article in Kerala Dental Journal in the year 2009.

He is keen in dental implant practice. The First Computer Guided Implant Surgery in Kerala was done in his clinic and he is a consultant to many clinics in Kerala on dental implant Prosthodontics.

He has cleared the Associate Fellowship Examination of The American Academy of Implant Dentistry(AAID) held at Chicago  and is probably the only dentist practicing in Kerala with this fellowship. He has undertaken the Advanced Maxicourse of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has attended the continuing dental education of the dental Implant Study Club of  the Loma Linda University, California in May 2009.

He is the  editorial advisor of The Kerala Dental Journal.

He has lectured and conducted hands on tranning on Laminate Veneers at Sharjah, U.A.E .

He has successfully conducted a pre-conference hands-on course on Laminate Veneers at the IDA Nedumbassery conference in 2008.

He has conducted a pre-conference course on 20th November 2009 at the  42nd Indian Dental Association Kerala State Dental Conference held at Calicut . He was an invited speaker at the prestigious IAACD conference in Delhi  held in October2009. He was the Organizing joint secretary of the 15th National Conference of the Indian Society of Oral Implantologists held at Cochin in 2008.He has lectured on Dental Implant Materials at the BioMedical National Level Technical Fiesta Conference, MEDCON held at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, Thrissur in November 2008.

He believes in updating his knowledge regularly and has traveled to Europe to visit the production units of Ivoclar,3M and Nobel Biocare and has acquired a short term training from them on their products. He has visited the dental school at Glasgow, the NYU at New York, New Jersey dental university and the NHU at Singapore. Travel, taste and teaching is his passion. He conducts classes regularly on different topics in Prosthodontics for aspiring dentists of different branches of the IDA and many candidates taking overseas examination has sought training under him .He is presently pursuing the MJDF RCS (England) course.
